CARIBBEAN MARKET REVISES TRADING DAYS SHOPPERS SAY WEDNESDAYS AND SUNDAYS ARE THE MOST POPULAR DAYS TO SHOP

Since 1966 locals and visitors have been exploring our gardens and shopping at our market, creating childhood memories across generations.

We’ve always adapted and evolved based on community demands and it’s become really clear that our audience would prefer to visit us on Wednesdays and Sundays and not as much on Fridays.

We’ve therefore decided to streamline our market days and continue to invest in our most popular days now and into the future. Therefore our last Friday market will be June 29th.

Despite the expansion and refurbishment of local shopping centres, visitors continue to show us that they still want to visit and contribute to their community market. Our 300 acres of parkland, 80 acre lake, beautifully landscaped gardens, fresh produce and variety market, cafes and food stalls attract around 10,000 visitors each week. However for nine years we’ve trialled Fridays and it’s clear that most shoppers want to visit us on our alternative market days.

We will continue investing and revitalising our Market and we’re committed to ensuring a distinctive offer that achieves a wonderful experience for all who visit.

By reducing market days it will allow us to optimise and further invest in our two on-going market days. And we’ll remain focused on attracting unique, quality stallholders, generating local and small business opportunities for traders, and continue creating fun, family friendly experiences into the future.

The last Friday Market will be Friday 29th June 2018. Babes to Kids will now take place on the first Wednesday of every month from July onwards. The next Babes to Kids Market will take place on Wednesday 4th July.

Looking forward to seeing you all there for an exciting new phase and renewed focus for our Market.
