FAQs

How much is it to have a stall?

– Stall costs vary depending on the market day. Please check the stall information for the most up to date details. Casual stall costs range from $5 to $28. Wednesday $20, Friday $5 and Sunday $28.

What is a Stall?

– Stall hire is a space (2.1 meters by 1.5 meters) and includes an optional table for use (2.1 metres x 0.9 meters).

What’s the procedure for having a stall?

– You don’t need to book for the Weekly Markets. You do need to book for the Babes to Kids Market.

You can find the procedure via this link.

However, the basic procedure is to arrive at the Ferntree Gully Road entrance between 6am-7am. Once the gates are open proceed to the ticket box to purchase your stall holder ticket (cash only). Once you have paid for your stalls you will be directed to the market area to join the relevant queue. Our friendly market staff will allocate you your stall/s, you can then slowly and safely drive your car into the market and unload your goods onto the table. Once you have unloaded you will need to carefully drive out of the market and park your car in the free car parking while the market is in operation.

How do I know if a stall will be there?

– The best way to know if a market stall is available is to come down and see for yourself. We have a number of regular stalls holders however as we don’t take bookings for regular market day, there is no guarantee on who will be here when.

Why should I have a market stall?

– You should have a market stall at Caribbean Market for a number of reasons. Here are just a few… sell you new or second hand products in a well established market. It’s easier than having a garage sale and you’ll have exposure to more people looking to buy your items. There is no booking for regular market days so there are no cancellation fees. Casual rates are very affordable.
