Caribbean Gardens and Market opened today for business as usual in accordance with the guidance and advice of relevant health authorities.
The Market is due to open again on Sunday 22nd March 2020 and continue until otherwise advised. The safety of our customers, stall holders and staff is our priority and will continue to take steps that follow advice and reduce the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Australian Government this morning confirmed that the following areas are exempt from the 100 person ban indoors: food markets, supermarkets, grocery store, retail stores, shopping centres, office buildings, factories, construction sites and other workplaces necessary for their normal operation. This includes Caribbean Gardens and Market.
Caribbean Gardens and Market continue to welcome stall holders and customers to access fresh food and market products. It’s important to continue to support local businesses.
